Zorc was a
midfielder, a one-club man, and holds the Bundesliga appearance record for
Borussia Dortmund, with 463. He made his debut in 1981 but had to wait till the
end of his career before tasting success. It was worth the wait though -
successive Bundesliga titles in 1995 and 1996 were topped off with the 1997
Champions League trophy. He came on as sub in the final victory against
Juventus. He never established himself at international level, but did pick up
7 caps with Germany. He chipped in with a decent number of goals for Dortmund
throughout his career - over 100 in total, with many of them penalties. Nicknamed "Susi" in his career due to his distinctive long hair
