Jordan Henderson - 281.97 Performance Pts
Born: 17/06/1990 Sunderland, England
Position: Midfielder Height: 1.82m Weight: 67kg
Henderson broke through with his hometown club, Sunderland,
and first gained international recognition whilst with the North East club.
However, it’s his spell with Liverpool for which he is most well-known. Henderson
had the honour of lifting both the Champions League (in 2019) and the Premier
League (in 2020 – Liverpool’s first league title in 30 years), along with
several other trophies, including both domestic cups in 2022. Henderson is an
all-round midfielder with excellent passing, stamina and leadership skills, but
has never been a prolific goalscorer – usually contributing a handful of goals
per season. However, 2 of his 3 international goals have come in high profile
matches. He scored the 4th goal in England’s 4-0 quarter-final
victory over Ukraine in 2021, and England’s opening goal in the 3-0 Round-of-16
victory against Senegal at the 2022 World Cup. Having been an advocate for
numerous worthy causes, including LGBT rights, Henderson faced criticism for
going to Saudi Arabia – not exactly renowned for acceptance of the LGBT
community – when leaving Anfield.
