Diego Fuser - 268.45 Performance Pts
Born: 11/11/1968 Venaria Reale, Italy
Position: Winger Height: 1.83m Weight: 77kg
Fuser was a presence in Serie A for 17 years, playing for
several high-profile clubs. The first of these was Torino, who gave him his
debut in 1986, prior to his move to Milan in 1989. He was mainly a squad player
for the Rossoneri, as they achieved Serie A and European Cup success in his
time there. Having also spent time on loan at Fiorentina, Fuser joined Lazio in
1992 and spent the longest spell of his career there; 6 seasons there saw them
regularly challenge for honours, finishing Serie A runners-up in 1995 and
winning the Coppa Italia in 1998 (his final Lazio season). He also broke into
the national team whilst there, winning the first of his 25 caps in 1993. Parma
was his next stop, and he repeated the Coppa Italia success in 1999. They also
picked up the UEFA Cup for good measure that season, with a 3-0 win in the
final against Marseille. He moved on to Roma in 2001, thus becoming a rare
example of a player representing both main Rome clubs but didn't establish
himself there. He moved back to Torino (then in Serie B) in 2003, before seeing
out his career in the lower leagues.
