In more
recent years Conte has been well-known as a manager, both at club level, managing
a succession of high-profile clubs in England and Italy, and also the Italian
national side. He’s won 4 Serie A titles as a manager with Juve and Inter, as
well as a Premier League in charge of Chelsea. As a player, he started out at
hometown club Lecce, making his debut aged 16, before joining Juventus in 1991.
He spent 13 years in Turin; and picked up 5 titles. He also played in the 1996
Champions League final as Juventus beat Ajax on penalties. He was a consistent,
hard-working presence in midfield, captaining Juventus on many occasions, also
picking up 20 caps for Italy. Conte is currently in charge at Napoli.
