Colin Todd - 263.27 Performance Pts
Born: 12/12/1948 Chester-le-Street, England
Position: Central Defender Height: 1.75m Weight: 73kg
Todd was
regarded as one of England's most stylish defenders during the 70s and won 27
England caps. He started out in his native northeast, at Sunderland, before
signing for Derby County in 1971, soon after Sunderland's relegation. He
enjoyed his greatest success at Derby, winning 2 league titles and all his
England caps during his time there. He never hit the same heights with his
other clubs, which included Everton, Birmingham and Forest. He's managed
several clubs since retirement, achieving promotion with Bolton in 1997. His
son, Andy, was also a professional, and played under him at Middlesbrough and
Bolton. Although he was also a centre-half, Andy was more of the 'no-nonsense'
variety compared to his father.
