Kevin De Bruyne - 257.59 Performance Pts
Born: 28/06/1991 Drogen, Belgium
Position: Midfielder Height: 1.81m Weight: 76kg
Having joined Manchester City back in 2015, going on to win countless
titles, De Bruyne’s status as one of the game’s modern greats is assured. A 7-2
win against Stoke in October 2017 featured a whole host of sublime passes, and
there’s been many similarly breathtaking assists and long range strikes over
the years for fans to enjoy. His career took a while to get going; he joined Chelsea,
from his first club, Genk, in 2012 but failed to establish himself and was sent
out on loan to Werder Bremen. His spell elsewhere in Germany, at Wolfsburg,
started to bring him to the attention of some of the wealthier European clubs,
and, despite their well-documented financial clout, signing the Belgian for £55million
represented good business for City. He’s accumulated over 100 caps for Belgium;
one of his stellar performances was against Brazil in the 2018 World Cup
Quarter Final, where his long range goal ultimately proved decisive in a 2-1 win
for his nation.
