Stefan Kießling - 256.60 Performance Pts
Born: 25/01/1984 Lichtenfels, Germany
Position: Forward Height: 1.91m Weight: 80kg
Kießling had a long career in the Bundesliga, starting out with Nurnberg before joining Bayer Leverkusen in 2006, going on to spend 12 seasons there. 2013 was an interesting year for Kiessling. He finished top scorer in the Bundesliga for the 2012-13 season, with 25, as Leverkusen secured a 3rd place finish. In October 2013, he 'scored' against Hoffenheim with a header. The ball had in fact gone wide but squeezed through a hole in the side-netting and nestled in the goal. Kiessling had actually turned away in disappointment having seen his header go wide of the goal. This proved to be the winner in a 2-1 victory, which led to understandable indignation from Hoffenheim. He won 6 caps for Germany and appeared at the 2010 World Cup. Before becoming a professional, he was considering a career as a chef
